Targeted Mental Health in Schools programme

The TaMHS Evidence-Based Guidance booklet aims to summarise existing knowledge about effective interventions to help children with mental health problems those who, in a school context, would broadly be described as having behavioural, social or emotional problems.

Nurture groups make a profound contribution to the ethos of schools and to the experience of children, staff and parents. The importance of school in promoting healthy development and good mental health is increasingly acknowledged.
